What is Atelier de Lachende Maan( Studio the Laughing Moon)?
I (Helena de Boer) first did my work here for Omrop Fryslan TV and wrote and made drawings for the children's program called Bear Boeloe. And in 2003 I started to teach in small groups, painting and drawing.
Ongoing inspiration finally brought up the idea of teaching in a more intuitive and spiritual way and I started to develop classes around these themes. Sometimes in a creative way combining both painting and intuition, and sometimes the focus lies on a more esoteric or occult approach.
However………..
At the moment ( 2010), I am working with clay, ceramics………I had to change my goals and move towards this totally new creative proces.
No more teaching right now, but using the Studio for myself again…Very rewarding though, and it suits me just fine right now….
It gives such joy to be aware of the magic of the seasons, the magic in nature and the magic of being aware that all is one! And the responsibility that goes with the package might just be the thing that is necessary to heal not only ourselves but the Earth as well.
